I am a 29 year old Day trader , hedge fund and portfolio manager in the forex and crypto space. I started my journey 5 years ago coming from a corporate background as a project manager in construction and needed a new path in life. Forex came knocking at my door and I took the opportunity with open arms. I have worked alongside major institutions in South Africa , the Middle East and Africa as a whole.

As a female portfolio manager in the forex industry, I have faced numerous challenges and obstacles along the way. However, I have also been able to thrive and succeed in this male-dominated field.

One of the biggest challenges I have faced is overcoming the stereotype that women are not as capable or knowledgeable when it comes to trading. I have had to work twice as hard to prove myself and earn the respect of my colleagues and clients.
